50-1000 V DC (stab.) Measuring range: 0 to 10 MOhm 0 to 100 MOhm 0 to 1000 MOhm The test current is limited to 12mA so no further safety measures are necessary for the operator. The item on test can be connected either by means of an earthing contact socket outlet or by two laboratory-type terminals. A lower limit of insulation resistance can be set by means of a trimmer potentiometer on the front panel.If a value less than this limit is recorded during the test a visual fault alarm is given ( a red LED "Fault") otherwise a green LED signal "Pass". An audible signal is given at the same time trimmer potentiometer on the front panel.
